I don't have a stable tank yet. its still cycling. went to petsmart for dog food and saw him and hes sooooooo cute 😭😭😭

Some aquatics stores do allow reservation, but as he’s being stored in a pot reserving him may not be healthy so I’m not sure if that store will allow it

same thing happened to me a few weeks ago, i saw this ultraviolet coloured betta i wanted SO bad but my tank wasn’t done cycling💔 she was ACCTUALY ultraviolet, not purple, ULTRAVIOLET COLOUR SHIFTING. and she was labeled as assorted. her fins were ultraviolet and her body was white UGG SHE WAS SO CUTEEE😭

He’s gorgeous I’ve had other fish stores do holds for me might be able to ask them to hold it if u pay in advance

I impulsively bought my betta at a petco (dw I had a cycled tank).. hate supporting petco/petsmart but I dont regret getting him at all. It’s worth it to at least ask a worker to hold him – the worst they can say is no and you stick to your plan of waiting until it’s cycled

Just buy it and put it in a large container until the real tank is ready
