Over the years we have caught a handful of weird fish. Curious as to wether or not that is because of the pollution in our area and the aftermath of the brio superund site coverup, or if theres just a lot of weird fish everywhere. All these pictures are from galveston bay. I have more photos of weird looking fish but cant find them atm

I’ve read jokes about the fish around Galveston being mutants but I guess they actually are deformed because of the chemicals

The sea cats have inflated heads during breeding season but other than that hook injuries/pollution would explain the deformities
