Meet Ilmari Kinnunen. He has been free from cup life for 4 days now. He made a shrimp friend and takes naps in a plant, also made his first bubble nest. He is in a 5 gallon while I cycle a 10 gallon for him. My question is this, he will only eat the shrimp’s algae wafers that have melted on the bottom of the tank! No pellets or tropical fish flakes. Should I try something else?

What brand of pellets are you using
You can definitely try live/frozen brine shrimp or daphnia 🙂
