I’m building a stand for a 125 gallon aquarium is this good enough or do I need to add more legs and braces?

  1. Assuming everything is square and well secured, seems fine to me. You can check by loading it up with bricks, cement blocks, bags of dirt, etc. 125 gallons Is about 1,250 lbs.

I wont say its the prettiest work but buddy you went a bit over board here.

I dont like that your transfer legs aren’t going straight from the tank to floor, and your bracing leaves a little to be desired, but if this is flat and true with no pressure points along the length of the tank anywhere, you should be fine. Strongly suggest a nice 3/4″ cabinet grade plywood top and give the whole thing a good seal with some Killz and paint to color choice.
