Is my fish pregnant? I just came back from a weekend trip where they had 2 days without food and so I know she didn’t just eat too much. Ironically her name is Belly lol. I don’t know the sexes of any of my 3 platies, as you can see the one behind the orange one isn’t “bloated”.

The answer is always yes (technically gravid, not pregnant) unless she’s lived her entire life with no males, and I’m pretty sure the one in the back is male. Regardless, they can store it for a while
If there are male platys in your fish tank, females will always be pregnant 😂 My male platys even try breeding with my congo tetras lol
