I used to shark fish in my 20’s, my Senator has just been sitting and collecting dust for the past decade until today. Since then I’ve gotten into baitcasters with LH retrieve, and was thinking it would feel more natural if my Senator was LH retrieve. I’m taking it apart and restoring it a bit and I can’t help but think that changing the handedness on them is possible, despite was Gemini says.
Has anyone done this? I don’t imagine it’s as easy as just screwing the side plates into the opposite sides backwards, right?
