After rescuing a betta with swim bladder and almost no fins three days ago he hasn’t been eating and I’ve been giving him soaks in Epsom salt water for 10 minutes once a day. How long should I do soaks for. He finally ate a pellet today so I’m having more hope but should I be feeding him while doing these soaks? I’m also having to do a fish in cycle if that’s of any importance.

He’s in a 5.5 gallon with live plants, a pot from my cycled tank, tannins, I also add Seachem prime and stability daily and do about 15-20% water changes and testing the water with an api testing kit daily

  2. Yes, feed him. If he eats then feed. Food = Energy. If he loses too much weight then he will just wither away and it’ll seem like his healing process stalls.

Don’t feed him pellets there very hard to digest and cause swelling in there stomachs and constipation I suggest and highly recommend feed frozen food such as omega one carnivore or freshwater San Francisco Bay four foods

J’espère que tu vas le sauver.
Donne lui à manger s’il prend la nourriture. Ça va l’aider à prendre des forces pour combattre son infection.
