hi! this is my first experience with a long finned betta. i currently have 4 short tailed and decided i wanted to at least try something new. he’s been with me for about 3 weeks now. i know their long fins are very delicate and its made me very scared of anything happening. i dont see any tearing or perforations anywhere, but im wondering if they are growing? he has started getting painted blue from the day i put him in the tank. the first picture is current and 2nd was the day we got him. thank you for any advice and input!

Yes he’s good 👍 very pretty
He’s probably got a marbling gene a lot of these colored bettas do so be prepared for some big color changes to come
