He has rested on this tree since he was just a fry, he's gotten larger and his mouth is too big to properly suction on his favorite spot….. So now he does this. And yes there are tons of other places, but he likes this one apparently.
Still breathing, eating, couldn't be healthier. Except for this lol.
Also if this is something I should be worried about let me know…. I think it's just pleco weirdness but it still freaks me out a little. Is he ok to just be doing this all day? He usually switches to another branch later in the day (when he's more active) that he actually fits on.

As long as he’s eating and still moving periodically, he’s fine.
It’s just normal pleco activities.
The behaviour just gets weirder from here. Be prepared for the inevitable “I haven’t seen French Fry in a week? Is he gone?” phase.
