It took several years and she is currently somewhere around 5-6cm long. I don't know if it's usual for them to get to this age before a breeding attempt.
(I know the young won't survive in fresh water but my fish will appreciate the fresh protein)

ive had mine for about 3 months and for the last month all 4 females have been continuously eggnant
