Is this line good to put on a rod or get some new line?

If the memory isn’t horrible it’s fine. It’s the cheapest line they carry at Walmart. Won’t be hard to find something better but I’ve caught plenty of fish on it. This would be something I’d probably use on like a kiddie pole or a cane pole but it’s fine.

Depends on what fish you’re after. I usually use 8 or 6#. For starters hold it between your hands, pull it, and see how easy it breaks. Make sure it isn’t old

  3. looks like it’s old (new packaging for zebco omniflex is different) and has been left out for a while. mono lasts a while but if not stored well it will become weakened. and that stuff’s pretty cheap, you’re looking at like $3 for a replacement.

honestly toss it and just get a spool of berkley big game from wally world for $10

This line is horrible. If it’s the only option it’ll do but you’ll be much better off spending a little bit more for better quality line. Trilene big game or Stren are much better options. The pound rating is much more consistent and both have a lower memory(doesn’t stay spiraled after coming of the spool or bail)
