Betta Fish: Rudy the rescue.

I have three guppy and shrimp tanks so I set up a spare 15gallon when I saw him. Rudy was rescued from Petsmart 4/8/26. We are hoping to make it through the night… one day at a time. Marked as a black orchid male. The filter is modified so the flow is very low. Cattapa leaves are in the tank with lots of plants and hiding spots. Planning on a 25-50% water change every other day. He did swim around the tank for about 2 minutes after he was released from the torture tub. Now he is at the bottom kinda sideways. First betta.. I figured even if he gets a few good laps in clean water, with a dim light, and warm water before he passes, it was worth taking him home.
