Hello from Japan to all the vintage lure fans.
I acquired a Mitchell Hookwell spinner quite a long time ago, but one different lure was mixed in with it.
It is a spinner with two small blades, the same type used on the Hookwell. At first, I thought it was a defective Hookwell spinner. However, upon closer inspection, I noticed that the upper blade of the two-tiered blade setup is stamped with “Mitchell” (the small blade on regular Hookwell spinners is usually stamped “France”).
After searching around the internet quite a bit, I was able to find images of the same lure, but I still could not figure out its name. Since I’m Japanese, maybe my search terms were not good enough.
So if anyone among the vintage lure fans on Reddit knows what this lure is, I would really appreciate it if you could let me know. Also, was it made in the 1950s–60s, like the Hookwell?
Thank you very much.

I’m no expert by any means, but it looks like it could be a Mitchell model 7372. Old forums seem to be the best resource for info, so you may have some inaccuracies to navigate. Good luck!
