Figured I’d share the 3 setups I’ve been using the most lately — this lineup honestly covers 90% of what I’m doing between freshwater, inshore, and light salt.

  1. Light finesse / do-it-all spinning (far left)

    • Bull Bay Banshee 6’8” Medium

    • Shimano Twin Power 25 3000 XD

This is probably my favorite overall setup. Super clean, super smooth, and just fun to fish.

  1. Power baitcaster / heavy hitter (middle)

    • Falcon Peacock Marsh Series 5' 8" H

    • Shimano Tranx 3000

This is a setup I've put together for a future peacock bass trip to Brazil. I normally use the Tranx on another rod for snook/tarpon but I like this combo for Amazon peacock-specific applications.

  1. Compact baitcaster / accuracy setup

    • Level NXG rod 7' MH

    • Shimano Curado DC 151HG

This one is just fun. Super controlled, easy casting. An all around freshwater tool for me.

If anyone’s running similar setups or has suggestions for upgrades, drop them — always tweaking gear.
