Hey guys this is my first betta, looking for tips. The tank size is 5.8g I’m looking to get more live plants but not sure what as honestly I’m not very into them! And help would be appreciated

  1. Hi!! If you’re not into live plants, maybe try out some good quality silk plants! Just keep in mind how delicate Betta fins are, so run a pantyhose over everything and if it catches, so will his fins. Or! I highly recommend “set it and forget it” plants like java fern, anubias, or crypts. I find that they grow without much effort at all and only need trimming when they get out of hand!

  2. Anubias are easy to care for and good for the tank. Various plants would be nice as Bettas love to explore and feel safe.
