we live in China, and our nanny has fished this out of the local pond and brought it home. she means well but there is a different attitude to welfare in china.
anyway, can anyon identify it? is it a goldfish?

Goldfish! May not be in the best shape but look at least part fancy I think? Like maybe I’m crazy but half or full poorly bred ranchu goldfish maybe? Little dude could use some tlc and probably needs a ~30 gallon just for himself.
