Hello! i set up an 8 liter tank for some neocaridnia shrimp and approximately 3 months later i added 10 shrimp into the tank and everything was going smoothly. filter is running perfectly and ive been testing consistently and all was good and stable. i then decided to add a small piece of almond leaf for some added surface for the shrimp to graze on and 2 days later the water became very cloudy. Im assuming itās a bacterial bloom and it didnāt clear for another 2 days so i did a 20% water change and that didnāt help so i removed the leaf and 6 days since then and the water is still cloudy. ive been testing my parameters using API test kit and ive had 0 ammonia 0nitrite and 5ppm nitrate. TDS is 220ppm. GH 9 KH 3.
Do i just need to wait it out?
PS: picture is before leaf removal but the water still looks like that even after removal.
