Betta Fish: What type of betta is this?

Thanks for the advice on my previous post! I’ve tracked down a 20L tank for my new fishy friend and have started my fishless cycle.

I purchased this betta for my friend today and I’m wondering what type of betta he actually is?

It was advertised as half moon, and the lady said it was a king half moon. But I don’t know how true either of those statements are, as he is very little. He could just be very young and I’m very stupid but I thought I’d ask you guys and show off our new friend.
