Cycling my first tank and have what I assume is a diatom hair algae problem. Each day it almost doubles in size. Is this normal in the cycling process, or is there anything I can do to limit it? Tank appears to be done cycling as I’m dosing with ammonia and it converts 3ppm to 0 ammonia and nitrite within 24 hours.
