Hey y’all, I picked up this sweet vintage baitcaster. It’s a Daiwa Procaster PMA 10s, made in Japan in the 80’s. It’s in overall great condition, but the drag wheel can’t tighten or loosen. When I tighten the drag, it hits the tension knob, and when I loosen it, it will hit the handle. I’ve tried bending the prongs, flipping it around, and even reorganizing the padding before the drag, but nothing seems to fix it. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, how did you fix it? It’s a great looking reel and I would love to get it back on the water.
