hello y'all, here is the first native brown trout of this spring from a creek in the northern Appennini. Just wanted to read some of your opinions its mouth looks a bit odd and has a scar near the tail. Anyway released, I know under wich rock lives.

Definitely looks strange. Maybe some sort of birth deformity or tumour? He looks fairly big though so doesn’t seem to be bothering it, although he is pretty lean & skinny.
