The title is pretty straight forward, but I’m looking for a new reel for my rod. I usually do inshore and freshwater fishing, and I’m not sure if I should get a Stradic 3k or a vr50. I know van staals are meant for like surf but apparently the vr50 is good for what I do. I’m torn between them because they are both just so good, yet they have their cons. For the Stradic, the main con for me is that it won’t match my custom rod. The reel I used to have on it was a quantum 5k but I sold it.
