I've set up my first Walstad tank (7l) about 2 weeks ago, added 2 Lymnaea stagnalis (Great Pond Snail) 4 days ago and the ground is already covered in poop, despite the snails being young and just 1,5cm big.
How poopy are your snails?

Every fish makes poop. Some of them makes less bcs unlike snails they don’t eat everything.
You need to clean the substrate with siphone and turkey blaster or pipette.
