Betta Fish: Meet Pepper! From charismatic cup boy to gorgeous spoiled brat. He is a “therapy fish” and visits my patients in a geriatric psych hospital in his 12 gallon tank on a cart. He recently got 4 amano shrimp friends. He was labeled a half moon double tail.
Aquariums: Slight cloudy water in an established tank, no odor, no excessive bio film and good parameters.
theos_alt on April 12, 2026 1:49 pm make sure the fish you have arent shrimp eaters and the temperature isnt below 65 F. other than that youre good to go
Frequent-Midnight-83 on April 12, 2026 1:52 pm I’d say try to maintain stable temps and parameters. Other than that it’s not much different than an indoor tank.

How are you protecting them from wild/stray animals?
