I got the tank stand and lids and 150Lb of aqua soil for 300$ the only thing that i need to do reseal it do you guys have any advice for me

Good deal on a decent tank. The aqua soil especially was a steal, I just bought some bags from Amazon and got 17lb bags for 36.00. stuff just keeps going up, you’d think fluval is making it from gold.
Edit: resealing is fairly easy, many tutorials online on what order you want to do the panels of glass ECT. You got it! You can also save a little money and use door and window caulk so long as you don’t mind clear caulk. Aquarium specific caulk is the only one I have found that comes in black sadly.

Reseal in a well ventilated area. The sealant smells quite bad and the air above the tank is basically unbreathable.
I resealed a 125G that I got used. Just redid the inside silicone only. You’ll want a few razor blades, acetone, and some painters tape to give the new silicone a cleaner look. I looked up multiple videos on how to reseal before doing it myself. I think I went through like 6 razor blades.

What are you going to do with it; reef tank?

I JUST finished resealing the exact same tank with ASI 509 black silicone. Have fun reaching the bottom of that sucker to get all the silicone out. 😂 don’t dig out any in between the glass planes. Get LOTS of razor blades. Clean glass with acetone poured onto a rag. Even when you think you got all the silicone. Scrape with a new blade again. You’re gonna be surprised how long it takes to get all of it out. Wait 7-14 days for it to cure. The pressure of water on a 150 tall more than a 150 regular tank. I waited 10 days. Think it may have failed. There’s water in between the tank and the deck. none around the edges, so idk. 😞
