24 v lithium battery for trolling motor storage

I have a Jackson big rig fd with a nk 180 pro. I’ve always had the battery in my yak attack black box, because that’s how I had it set up on my old town. The big rig has a bigger hull hatch and I can easily fit the battery in the bow of the kayak now. Do yall think it would be a better idea to move the battery up front to counter some of the weight in the back and let me use my black box for tackle storage again? Pic for attention.
