Opening day is coming up in 3 days. I’m super excited haven’t been fishing in a lot of years… gonna be throwing lure for brook trout. My father gave me these as I had no gear. Any tips/tricks/advice? Thanks a bunch!

My advice.. ask your dad. I wish I had someone to learn from, its been years of trial and error for me.
I will say, those will all work great just keep them out of the grass. I caught a niiiice pike on one like the top right today. Good luck!

Use a swivel. I know that sounds like a no-brainer but a friend of mine was new to fishing and using a rooster tail and said “I can’t get this damn thing to spin right” I looked at his setup and saw he didn’t have a swivel on so I helped him out and tied one on for him.
