Trying to take apart my BG2500 and give it a good cleaning after a recent dunking in saltwater (I fish mostly off a paddle board and shit happens, lol). No matter what I’ve tried, I can’t seem to get the handle to loosen, which keeps me from removing the side plate. Not sure this is the right forum to try, but has anyone else run into this, and found a solution?

It’s a screw in handle. You reel it backwards to unscrew it.
