My last betta fish passed away last week (RIP Shimmer). He was an adult when we got him and we had him a little over 2 years. He even moved across the country with us. He slowly developed tumors and eventually passed away peacefully. I think he was pretty old for a betta.
The tank didn’t stay empty for long. I did a 90% water change and got this little guy yesterday. He’s smaller so I’m hoping he’s young and we will have him for many years to come! His little personality is already coming out. He’s flaring at me and showing some attitude!
Any ideas for a name? My 6 year old wants to pretend he’s a girl and give him a girly name lol
