New Tech 🍬 Berkley Nessie 5in (2/5oz)

Can't wait to get this thing in the water.

A USDM knockoff of the Grow Design Works Flag soft glidebait. For a 1/10th of the price of the original, I figured why not give it a go.

Planning on hitting it with an orange Spike-lt Dip-N-Glo marker to give it that classic yellow perch pop. Would have been cool if they colored the plastic stabilizer fins orange from the get-go, but for $10 I'm not complaining. Hoping that slight bend in the tail doesn't affect the action at all.

Gonna try throwing this on my Orochi xx flatside special (7' M regular), although this is at the bottom of that rod's reccomended weight rating. If it's too light for the Megabass, it should be fine on my St. Croix black bass 7'1" M fast spinning setup (although I prefer treble hook lures on the more parabolic Megabass rod)

So stoked to fish my first swimbait (besides a Keitech paddle tail). Will update with some pics after I get the orange dye on it + will share my first impressions after a couple sessions.

Let me know if you have any reccomendations as to how I should fish this thing.

(Thanks to whoever reccomended this lure on my last post!)
