Tank has been cycling for a little over a month. We had a angel fish die, and it caused an ammonia spike. Got that under control now, I have a nitrite spike. I’ve done 2 50% water changes on Wednesday, and Thursday, I got told to leave it alone and continue to prime it for it to come down. Well it’s now Monday and it was showing 1 on yesterdays test and now it is showing a 2 from the API. I have the heat set at 81f to try to help as I was told heat helps get rid of nitrite. Should I do a 25% water change or just keep using prime?
