Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with some great brands in the industry—like my past collaboration with Technocarp. Working together to see how my shell system integrated with their boilies was a huge learning moment. It proved that sometimes the best results happen when you combine proven bait tech with a new way of presentation.
That experience taught me that innovation isn’t about replacing what works—it’s about finding a "shell" that protects and enhances the effectiveness of the baits we already trust. Seeing how anglers used the shells to create their own custom combinations, whether with liquid attractants or different bait mixtures, really opened my eyes to the potential of modular design.
I’m curious—have any of you ever tried combining different brands of gear or bait to solve a specific problem on the water? What was your most successful "DIY" combo?
