Hit one of my local creeks this morning. I sheltered under a bridge while it poured, and I even hauled in a few while I was under there. Haven’t thrown a Texas rig in a while so I gave it a shot. Weightless with a big trick worm or pink senko was the perfect formula for them to crush it on the descent. They were unusually aggressive for this area which made it so much more fun. Pic is the second biggest of the day. The biggest flopped off the side of the boat before I could get a shot, was probably 2.5lbs. Hope everyone’s having a good summer so far.
