This isn't the biggest pike I've caught or the most aggressive but the way I caught it made my day. I was out for 4 hours today with not so much as a nibble on an artificial minnow. I go right in front of the port authority and bang. I hook into this baby on 4lb test line with no net to speak of. I then have to wear it out, prop my rod up and hurry to set up my other rod that has 15lb braid. I managed to hook him again while simultaneously popping the other hook out. All I had to do from there was pick him up and cross my fingers. Hell yeah
