TOLEDO, Ohio — The Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Wildlife announced that special fishing regulations have been set for this spring and summer at Lake La Su An Wildlife Area in Williams County.

At all other times, the Lake La Su An Wildlife Area is closed to fishing.
Reservations are not needed, and cars must be parked in the designated parking spaces, ODNR said.
The sunfish daily limit is 15, and anglers must not take no more than seven fish of 8 inches or longer.
Largemouth bass have an 18-inch minimum length requirement and a five-day fish limit, according to ODNR.
Additionally, channel catfish have a two-fish daily bag limit.
Limits are also posted on site, and they’re in effect area-wide.
Regardless, anglers can only catch up to one daily limit per species.
“All other statewide fishing regulations apply to the area’s lakes,” ODNR said. “Anglers are also reminded that no fish may be used as bait in the wildlife area.”
The regulations were created to boost the quality of bluegill fishing in the wildlife area, ODNR said.
