I’m thinking about doing a similar fishing trip to France, and I stumbled across this video of a guy fishing solo on a huge reservoir. It got me wondering how permits work for places like this — is a regular French fishing permit enough, or do you need a separate permit for specific reservoirs?
He spends a few days out there alone, sleeping under a tarp, getting around in an inflatable boat, battling the weather, and trying to land a carp.
