Fishing conditions Report Time!
CA Dana Point Harbour, October 18th 2026.
Did a quick fishing in Dana Point Harbour.
Caught: 1 Kelp Bass, 1 Topsmelt, 2 Spotted Sandbasses, 12 Opaleyes, and 1 Sargo.
Witnessed: A school of 7 Yellowfin Croakers, 1 Spotfin Croaker, a school of 10-12 Sardines, a school of 7-12 adult Striped Mullets, a school of baby Striped Mullets, Jacksmelt and Topsmelt, Zebra Perches, and lots of Opaleyes.
Shrimp and Squid worked the best as bait.
The Dana Point Jetty was closed as I know.
