Beauty! I just got a 17 pound common last weekend. I’ve never seen a mirror carp… I’m out of St. Louis and I fish both sides of the river. Commons, grass carp, buffalo… But no mirrors.

Lovely mirror carp, congrats. I would love to come over to the US for some carp fishing one day.

I’m from Idaho and used to catch Carp as a child. They were considered trash fish and occasionally were used to enrich the soil in our gardens. I’m just wondering if anybody has any other use for them?
