I bought a set of new 12 ft rods 2 weeks ago which I was very eager to test. So I ignored an absolutely rancid forecast and took a train to tbe river. In the first few hours of daylight this 34 lb monstrosity found it's way into my net. Surpassed my 12 lbs.
