In most places in salt water, yes. But we don’t know where you are.

Local regulations will apply.

It’s illegal in South Carolina, legal in Pennsylvania. That’s all I know about it.

Yes, it’s a pompano rig…banana jig, wacky jig

I know most of Florida doesn’t allow treble hooks in conjunction with live bait so since this is artificial it’ll be fine. Just gotta look at your local laws.
But personally I’ve never seen someone use trebles for Pompano. Does it work?

Trebles are okay with artificial in Florida

Like others have said, you’ll have to check your county’s regulations, on top of state. FWIW, I’ve never used a wacky jig with a treble hook before. I’ve only used the ones with the flash hook being a regular one. Pompano don’t require trebles.

Regardless of legality, that is gonna be tough to get out of a pompano’s mouth (or snook or mackerel; they all seem to hit goofy jigs) and the single hook teasers hook up just fine. Just saying.

legal probably unnecessary yes

Regardless on legality its not smart. Pompano have small mouths, that will cost you more fish than youll catch

You would have to check the fishing regulations in most places a treble hook is just a hook in some places they allow tandem hooks which would be like two hooks in a row or trippal hook sets in tandem or unless they are attached to a lure body

Florida has separate regs for Atlantic and Gulf for some species. Pompano I believe has a couple of extra zones as well. I don’t believe I’ve seen treble hooks mentioned.

It’s so illegal in California to have two hooks if caught 30 years 🤣 🤣
