Could you please let me know what is range in meters of the Nash Siren R2 Alarm? How far the receiver can be from the alarm to work properly?

I noticed that sometimes the receiver works fine and makes a sound together with the alarm. And sometimes the alarm sounds by itself, without the receiver. The range where the receiver is located is about 20 meters from the alarm. There is no consistency. If I am 5 meters from the alarm then the receiver works fine. Is this a defect?

It should say in the book or on the website, Delkim to at least. To be honest It wouldn’t surprise me if they were working correctly. Nash is an English company and Environment Agency guidelines for fishing here are the angler should be no more than 8 yards from an “active” rod so the guaranteed effective receiver range is probably designed to be not much more than this in order to save battery in both the alarm and receiver.
