Took my two children out for a short beach trip. My 3yo ended up with his first fish, 26” red. He is now a man of the surf!
I feel like I might have spoiled him with a 26” red while using my VS lol 😂

This is a great omen for him, only 3, slammin reds in the surf with a Van Staal ❤️ my son (4) helped me bring in some croaker in OBX that I used to catch a red and a southern ray
The day he sets up his own rig, baits his hook, lands and releases his own fish and repeats while outfishing you will be a proud day for you both. Tight lines and many memories to you.
