17 in Catskills brook trout. Colors were way better in person

Holy slab! What stream in the Catskills if you don’t mind me asking?

This is the brookie I’ve been looking for! Largest I’ve got was only 12-13 ish so far. What kind of water was it in? Above a lake? Shallow, deep, etc. no creek names even though I’m in NH

Esopus creek. They are few and far between, thought I got a log at first cause it wouldn’t move off the bottom

I think that’s one of the prettiest trout I’ve seen.

All I catch (aside from one brown) is brook and the color is something else, such a gorgeous fish.
