Just got this bamboo rod from a family member after they learned I started… dates back to 1947 but I was told it is older… anyone know anything about it?

Looks about 1920s era but I guess it could be from ‘47 if it was custom. Reel seats started to be commonly plastic during/after WWII. If it’s from ‘47 the maker made it in the old style and likely had been doing it for decades.
