Hey all, I'm looking for recommendations for a dedicated streamer line for my 5wt rod. I have used a polyleader but don't enjoy casting with it as it hinges quite a bit. I'm looking for a versatile line to bank fish streamers in Colorado and I'm considering the Orvis Bank Shot Sink Tip as well as the OPST Commando Smooth. What would you recommend out of these two options? I'm hoping with a short, heavy head I can throw some larger meat with my 5wt. Thanks!

  1. The opst commando still needs a tip. So you will have a hinge if you go full sink. You can get a fuel density tip that are 8/2 float/sink, 4/4 float/sink, or a 2/8 float/sink.

  2. The orvis bank shot is a great line. I have also had a couple of airflow streamer max short lines and they are my favorite
