Tried tying my first wet flies( I usually don’t fish with wet flies, so didn’t have the need to tie them before), tied them in sizes 10-14. Since i didn’t have any partridge at the time, substituted it with mallard flank.

Swing them by themselves or in front of a streamer. Some quick short strips every so often to give them extra action.

I would add a some peacock herl before adding the soft hackle. The reason is the soft hackle otherwise will just get slicked back by the water. The orange one is fine.
