Just left a friend's home and her late husband had this rod. It was not made for him but it was custom made. If any of you know the maker and have any information of the rod please forward it. BTW it feels really nice. Maybe some knowledge on the reel as well

Without asking the maker to look in their records, presuming they even have them, it would be guesswork to identify the rod. You could buy any number of blanks over the years, as well as all of the other components, and create any rod you wanted.
The reel looks like an older LRH model Hardy lightweight. Still made and sold.
