Hello! I have a Pulsinno telescopic rod and I have been wanting to try my hand at surf fishing. It's a cheapo rod, so I just wanted to see if it'll make do.

I would be using a double drop bottom rig with a pyramid sinker. Am I good to give it a go with the above rod, or should I bite the bullet and buy a proper surf fishing rod?
