So these are some flies I tied. I first saw a fly tying videos like two months ago and recently I purchased a fly rod and started tying flies with stuff that I gathered from Walmart and dollar tree (basically just pipe cleaners, yarn, sewing thread, fake feathers, and foam balls). I basically have no idea what I'm doing; I have no idea what makes a fly look appetizing to fish and am just making things using lots of colors because I heard fish tend to like more color in the winter. I'm curious as to what people who fly fish regularly would think about them and whether they have any chance at all at catching any fish. I think I did pretty good on the egg but I feel like that one would be hard to mess up. I'm open to criticism and you can be as harsh as you want because I don't have a lot of pride riding on these things. I know I'm not good, I just don't know exactly what I'm doing wrong or how to get better.
