A quick reminder, be careful when you are out there. Recently, 87 year old man died ice fishing. I know that most of you will think of the age, but water does’nt care about your age and has taken younger fishermen.

Ice should be atleast 4 inch for you to walk on it (not with car)

Always try to be on the ice with someone else. Wear an ice jacket, ice pick and cell phone.

If you do fall through, take off your gloves. Once they get wet, it’ll be harder to get out of the water.
